Idil Ozturk

Idil is second year master student at Columbia School of Social Work with a focus on health, mental health and disabilities. Idil received her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Idil's interests include post-resettlement mental health of refugees, as well as the cultural differences and biases that affect those who work and interact with refugees and asylum seekers. Idil has held positions in clinical roles at Lighthouse Guild and the Initiative for Women with Disabilities at NYU Langone Health Center.
